A Pagan Sourse

Do you find that the more you study the Word of God the more you need to study the Word of God? There is so much to learn. The depths like its' Author are endless. 

From the very beginning of mankind Satan has been out to destroy mankind. Not so much because he hates us, but because God loves us. Satan wanted worship and wanted to be in place of God. He devised evil and was found out. Thus separating himself eternally from our Creator God Almighty.    
     "You were blameless in all you did from the day you were created 
 until the day evil was found in you." ~ Ezekiel 28:15

Sadly, many Christians do not see they too have fallen into the lies of Satan and believe imitating these pagan practices are harmless. Some do this ignorantly and others willfully denying when confronted.  

ACCURSED THINGS

In addition to these practices are objects and charms that carry Satanic influences through the various avenues of Satanism; including witchcraft, spells, sorcery, magic, enchantment and the like. Objects are charged through incantations and carry a dark power, demonic or unclean spirits that can be unbeknownst to the one with the object. Accursed things are a hosts to demons. Even touching an accursed thing is an open door for demons to enter or attach. They will influence, steal, kill and destroy as they will. God is a ferociously jealous God. He is clear that His people not covet or toy with these and to remain on the alert that they do not come into the midst of them.    

THE DEMONIC

Demons are capable of indwelling non-Christians as well as attaching themselves to objects. For the non-believers they will make themselves at home in him/her unless that person is delivered and receives Jesus Christ who sends the Holy Spirit. The non-believer often does not realize they are open to demons if they do not have Jesus Christ as LORD. Demons need a host. They are everywhere, waiting for a person to give them a foothold. This does not have to be a specific invitation, but it can be. It can also be through drugs, alcohol pornography, adultery and many other sins. 

They cannot indwell the Believer who is the temple of the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit that protects. However, demons can attach and harass Christians. Often a Believer in Christ can feel the oppression and listen to the lies these demonic attachments speak which is why worshiping the LORD Jesus Christ and knowing His word is so important. They hate the LORD Jesus Christ and they hate when we worship Him. It drives them away. 

Mankind is often ignorant of how these doorways are opened for the enemy and often invite them unwittingly With the 'promise' whispered from the demon that they will become powerful the person stops listening to common sense and starts down a road of lies. The soul of the person becomes darker and darker as the demons invite other demons in and convince the person to perform more and more evil practices to gain yet more power. Many who have walked this road have indeed attained higher status in power, money, fame and are in a variety of venues; entertainment industry and high levels of governments, businesses, etc. however the day of reckoning will indeed come and Hell is the landing after the LORD Jesus' judgment. Many find the life they thought would grant them all the wanted have found it empty. Yet some are so engrossed that they will indeed pass from this life to eternal separation with God and be banned to Hell and later to the Lake of Fire. God is quite serious on these matters.  

WALKING WITH OR AGAINST GOD

Not all afflictions are caused by possession but many can be. Demons can be a source of torments, diseases, sicknesses, curses, etc. The LORD God has also said that when we do not follow His ways we will bring curses upon ourselves in a variety of ways. (Leviticus 17, 18, 19, 20 Deuteronomy 27 & 28) There is also punishment for apostates who attempt to lead others away. The Scriptures are filled with God's warnings and we must take heed. 

Jesus Christ will help anyone who calls upon His name to free them. Acts 16:31 So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” 

 However, if one is worshiping abominations, with accursed things, and calling on the name of Jesus Christ it is abominable. God will not share His throne with anyone or anything. You cannot cast out a demon, heal the sick in the Name of Jesus if you have an accursed thing with you. A demon will not cast out demons and is more thank likely to join others. Those with demon possession it has been learned that are are typically more than one demon. 

A believer has the authority to cast out demons as well. The demons can 'see' if you are a true believer. You must be free of accursed things. Check yourself and see if you are weak in this regard. Perhaps you have a demonically charged object without your knowledge or that you have touched. Renounce it in the name of Jesus Christ.  
     Learn The Lesson 

But the children of Israel committed 
a trespass in the accursed thing: 
for Achan, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, 
took of the accursed thing: 
and the anger of the LORD was kindled against the children of Israel 
~ Joshua 7: 1 ~  
Worshiping a false god will kindle God's anger. He will be against you. He will hide His face. God will let you lose to your enemy when you have an accursed thing. We can see many places where the enemy has moved in, one being the church, our schools, our leadership at every level. 

Satan will lie and make promises to ensnare you, but in the end you are defeated and it is always ends death. Satan's goal is to lead you away from Jesus Christ and His Kingdom.  The gift of salvation that the LORD Jesus Christ offers is free to anyone who calls upon Him, however we must abide in Him, learn His ways which are truly good. He will bless our lives and change us. Without Him there is no salvation. We cannot earn our way to heaven. Jesus Christ is the only way, the only truth and the only life. No one comes to the Father except through Him [Ref. John 14:6]

Learn this truth about accursed things. The accursed thing will drag you to Hell with Satan's lies. Remove it. It is not worth your eternal soul. Burned it, crush it whatever you need to do to destroy it so that no one else will be ensnared by it. Repent, ask the LORD Jesus for forgiveness and He will freely give. Learn of Him.  
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. 
Because you have rejected knowledge, 
I also will reject you from being priest for Me; 
you have forgotten the law of your God, 
I also will forget your children." 
~ Hosea 4:6 ~  
Satan chose to separate himself from God. Mankind can choose likewise and our end will be the same as ordained by the LORD, however God has graciously opened a way for us to be restored back to Him through the sacrifice that He made as Jesus Christ. This is a precious gift extended only to us. Satan is permanently separated from God. He hates God and therefore comes after the objects of God's affections namely us. Satan is conniving, deceiving and perpetual liar. Whatever truth he speaks will always have a barb, a hook, a twist to it. 

 Can Christians celebrate pagan rituals and the LORD's coming to save us in the same breath. I was once a part of this in the avenue of Christmas, but now I see the difference and I will never go back. When you see it too, you will not be the same.  

RECEIVE THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

Receive the LORD Jesus Christ and He will give you the Holy Spirit to guide you in all truth. Trust Him, learn from Him. His yoke is easy and His burden is light. He loves you so much. Do not rely solely on the church and the Pastor. We have access to God's word like never before in history. God will meet with any heart who is honestly searching in whatever circumstance they are in. Ask Him now with a true desire and He will answer. 

 God loves us deeply and desires to have us with Him throughout all eternity. And though mankind has also separated himself by sinning against God, yet God is willing to forgive and restore us. He has made a way through His only begotten Son Jesus Christ who took on flesh and was crucified to pay our dept to clear the way for us to be with God after this life.
